Two steps forward, one step back, another step forward ...

It typically takes babies a long time to learn how to walk. They take a couple steps, fall down, and sometimes retreat for awhile. Later, they stand up, take a couple more steps, fall, and then try again. Eventually, they reach the point where they can walk without falling. It is the same with using new strategies for children. You may attend one of our seminars, read one of our books like, How to Talk to Kids so They Listen, implement the strategies, and then slip back into old habits for awhile. If you keep persevering, you will see that the strategies work. Be gentle on yourself. New patterns can be tough to learn. You can do it. You are a difference maker.

Have a great day,
